Privacy Policy
What this website collects, why, and how to reach us about it.
Who we are
This website is operated by Sichuan Tianran Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. (四川恬然农业科技有限公司), trading as GoJoy, of No.17 South Jiaozi 1st Road, Wuhou District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, P.R. China. We decide why and how the personal data described here is handled.
For anything on this page, write to [email protected].
What this page covers
This policy is about gojoyfruits.com. It does not cover other companies whose sites we link to, or correspondence that starts somewhere other than this website.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry. The form asks for your name, email address and message, and optionally your company and a subject. We use them to answer you and to carry on the conversation that follows. The message is delivered to our sales mailbox as email. It is not written to a database, and this website keeps no copy of it.
Your IP address, briefly. When the form is submitted, the address it came from is held in the server's memory to stop the same source flooding us. It is not written to a log or a file, and it is gone when the service restarts. We do not keep web server access logs.
How the site is used, if you agree to it. We use Google Analytics to see which pages people read and how they found us, so we can make the site more useful. It is switched off until you choose Accept. Before you accept, nothing is loaded from Google and no request is sent to them.
Nothing else. The site loads no fonts, icons, maps, videos or buttons from anyone else, so simply reading a page does not announce your visit to a third party.
Cookies and your choice
Unless you agree to analytics, no cookies are set at all.
If you choose Accept, Google Analytics sets its own cookies and identifiers and uses them to record how this site is used. We ask Google for measurement only. Advertising storage, sending user data to Google for advertising, and personalised advertising stay refused on every page view whatever you choose, so your visit is not used to target advertising at you.
Your answer is stored by your own browser on your own device, using local storage rather than a cookie, and is never sent to us.
You can change your mind at any time from Cookie settings in the footer of every page. Withdrawing stops further collection straight away on the page you are already reading, not just on the next one you open, and removes the analytics cookies this site is able to delete. It cannot recall data that was already sent to Google before you withdrew. Clearing your browser storage also clears your answer, and you will be asked again on your next visit.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of companies to run the site and our email. They act on our instructions.
- Zoho. Our business email. Enquiries arrive and are kept there.
- Alibaba Cloud. The server this website runs on, located in Seoul, South Korea.
- Cloudflare. Sits in front of the site to serve it quickly and to absorb attacks. Requests to gojoyfruits.com pass through it.
- Google. Analytics, and only once you have agreed to it. If you have not, this site does not contact Google at all.
We are based in China, the server is in South Korea, and Zoho, Cloudflare and Google all operate internationally, so your enquiry, and any analytics you have agreed to, may be handled outside the country you sent it from.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not pass enquiries to advertisers, data brokers or any other third party.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept for 24 months from our last exchange with you, after which it is deleted. If the enquiry becomes an order, the records that go with that order are kept for as long as the relevant commercial and tax rules require.
Google Analytics is configured to retain user-level and event-level data for 14 months. Standard aggregated reports may be retained for longer.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can tell us to stop contacting you at any time, either by replying to any message from us or by writing to [email protected]. We will answer within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, local law may give you further rights. Tell us what you would like and we will do our best to help.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top of it. Material changes to how enquiries are handled will be described here rather than made quietly.
